Average L.A. County Gas Price Drops For 10th Time In 11 Days
The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gas in LA County dropped Friday for the 10th time in 11 days, falling 1.2 cents to $4.20
LOS ANGELES COUNTY -- On Friday, the average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County dropped for the 10th time in 11 days, falling 1.2 cents to $4.204, one day after declining seven-tenths of a cent.
According to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service, the average price has decreased 5.4 cents over the past 11 days, following a 21-day streak of increases totaling 58.6 cents that pushed it to its highest amount since July 21, 2015.
The average price is 3.4 cents less than one week ago, but 44.6 cents more than one month ago and 33.4 cents higher than one year ago. It has risen 81.3 cents since the start of the year.
