Eagle Rock Ranked Second-Hottest Real Estate Neighborhood in America

Eagle Rock is likely to be the nation’s second-most sought after neighborhood in 2014, according to a real estate ranking of top 10 localities by the Seattle-based brokerage firm Redfin. Last year, the firm ranked Eagle Rock at No. 4. 

"Highly ranked schools and scenic community parks look like the obvious common thread among the top neighborhoods," wrote Redfin's Real Estate Data Analyst in a blog posted this week. "However, Redfin agents have found that the real trend in 2014 neighborhood popularity is a short commute at an affordable price. The trending neighborhoods offer a short drive to or easy access to a commuter rail line at prices that are not the most expensive in the city."
