  • Two Racks of Ribs (Pork Baby Backs)
  • Chili Powder
  • Smoky Paprika
  • Onion Powder, Garlic Powder, Pepper
  • Brown Sugar
  • BBQ sauce
  • Dr. Pepper or Pepsi

Prepare the night before or up to four hours ahead. Place ribs in a ziplock bag or leak-proof container and pour Dr. Pepper on ribs until they are covered. Refrigerate. Take ribs out of container and dry with paper towels. Discard liquid. Sprinkle over ribs all the dry ingredients then smother with your favorite bbq sauce. Place in roaster bone side down.

Pour new Dr. Pepper into pan, about 1 inch. Cover with foil to steam in oven. Bake at 250 degrees for 4 hours. Take out and cut and serve or place on outside grill for 5 minutes.
