A motorcyclist was reportedly near death following a crash between his cycle and a car near the Rose Bowl today, a California
Highway Patrol officer said.
The crash was at 9:10 a.m. on the eastbound Ventura (134) Freeway near the Orange Grove Boulevard exit, said CHP Officer Ed Jacobs.
Initial reports were that the motorcycle and a sedan collided, Jacobs said. The motorcyclist was thrown from his bike and then run over by another vehicle, and suffered ``grave'' injuries, he said.
No one was cited or arrested, Jacobs said.
