New Year, New Gas Prices For Eagle Rock Drivers

Gas prices continue to drop across the Southland. Here are the latest prices near you in San Gabriel Valley.

EAGLE ROCK, CA — Gas prices have dropped again, almost reaching their January 2018 low mark, officials reported. The average price of gas in Los Angeles has fallen over the past seven consecutive days and 12 of the past 13, decreasing 7.8 cents, including eight-tenths of a cent on Tuesday, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.

The average price dropped five consecutive days, was unchanged last Wednesday, then resumed decreasing the next day.

The average price rose 3.6 cents in the three days before the start of the stretch of decreases.

he Orange County average price dropped for the 13th consecutive day, decreasing one-tenth of a cent to $3.34, its lowest amount since Jan. 27.

The Orange County average price has dropped 7.6 cents over the past 13 days, including eight-tenths of a cent on Tuesday. It had risen five times in the six days immediately before the streak of decreases, increasing 4.7 cents.

The Orange County average price is 3.9 cents less than one week ago and 16.3 cents lower than one month ago but 21.7 cents higher than one year ago.

The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County dropped Wednesday, decreasing four-tenths of a cent to $3.379.

The average price is 4.9 cents less than one week ago and 17.7 cents lower than one month ago but 22.3 cents higher than one year ago.
