Trees Catch Fire in Eagle Rock
The flames were extinguished in less than 18 minutes, according to the L.A. Fire Department.

A pair of trees caught fire Monday morning in Eagle Rock, leading to a plume of smoke visible to freeway drivers but no injuries.
The trees caught fire near Chickasaw Avenue and were in the proximity of a detached garage and a one-story home, according to Sgt. Brian Humphrey of the Los Angeles City Fire Department. Firefighters got the call at 8:30 a.m., and the flames were taken out in less than 18 minutes, Humphrey said. There were no injuries reported, and the fire is under investigation.
