Caltrain Seeks East Palo Alto Volunteers For Advisory Committee
The citizens advisory committee is composed of 9 community members who serve in an advisory capacity to the Caltrain board of directors.

SAN MATEO COUNTY, CA — The Peninsula Corridor Joint Powers Board, the entity that manages Caltrain, is seeking one volunteer from SanMateo County to apply for its Citizens Advisory Committee (CAC).
The CAC is composed of nine community members who serve in an advisory capacity to the Caltrain board of directors, providing input on the needs of current and potential rail customers. Applicants for the CAC should represent the demographics of Caltrain’s ridership.
The CAC currently has one opening for a representative from San Mateo County, with a term lasting until June 30, 2019.

Residents interested in joining the advisory committee can find an application on the CAC website, or by calling 650.508.6347. Applications for the CAC are due by Friday, Aug. 3, 2018.
The CAC meets on the third Wednesday of each month at 5:40 p.m. at Caltrain headquarters, 1250 San Carlos Ave. All meetings are open to the public.
