Child Sexual Assault Tied To Peninsula Man Arrested: Sheriff's

EAST PALO ALTO, CA -- An East Palo Alto man was arrested Monday at his Millbrae workplace on suspicion of performing lewd and lascivious acts with a child under 14 years old.

Joaquin Sanchez Sanchez, 35, was taken into custody by San Mateo County Sheriff's detectives upon accusations he sexually assaulted the victim who was under 10 years old at the time of the incidents. The sheriff's department reported they occurred in 2016 in unincorporated Redwood City and East Palo Alto.
