E. Palo Alto Man Arrested In Connection With Fatal Drug Overdose
San Mateo County Sheriff's deputies identified and accused the man of providing the San Carlos woman with a lethal dose of Fentanyl.

EAST PALO ALTO, CA -- San Mateo County Sheriff's deputies arrested an East Palo Alto man Wednesday in connection with an drug overdose death of a San Carlos woman in September.
Jon Oxenford, 25, was taken into custody on the 1900 block of Cooley Avenue and booked into San Mateo County Jail on charges of possession of methamphetamine, inflicting great bodily injury and narcotics sales (Fentanyl)
On Sept. 26, San Mateo County sheriff’s and coroner’s offices investigated an overdose death associated with a Fentanyl in San Carlos. Through the investigation, the San Mateo County Crime Suppression Unit detectives identified and accused Oxenford as the person who provided the victim with the lethal drug.

During the arrest, deputies found more narcotics and paraphernalia. He is being held on $122,500 bail.
