East Palo Alto Police Investigate Death Of Man As Homicide

A Palo Alto resident was found dead on Monday, and police are now investigating the incident as a homicide.

EAST PALO ALTO, CA — Police found a man dead in East Palo Alto on Monday and detectives were investigating the incident as a homicide, officials said Tuesday.

Officers were dispatched to the 1800 block of East Bayshore Road after reports of a deceased person were made to the Palo Alto Police Department. Upon their arrival, police found 58-year-old Palo Alto resident Christopher Hamilton, who was pronounced dead at the scene.

Details surrounding the incident were sparse about how Hamilton died or a motive for the potential homicide as police were still investigating.
