East Palo Alto Shooting: Police Seek Witnesses To Unsolved Case

EAST PALO ALTO, CA — East Palo Alto police are asking for witnesses to come forward following a homicide that's gone unsolved for a year, police said Thursday.
Danilo Perez of East Palo Alto was gunned down early on Dec. 13 in the 1200 block of Beech Street.
Police said they want justice for Perez and to get closure for his family. Police responded at 12:29 a.m. Dec. 13 to the 1200 block of Beech Street following the sound of gunshots that was picked up by ShotSpotter technology.

Arriving officers found Perez, 19, suffering from bullet wounds. Paramedics tried to save Perez's life, but he died. Anyone who saw Perez get shot or who has information about the shooting is asked to get in touch with police.
