As SMC Celebrates National Preparedness Month, East Palo Alto Residents Urged To Get Notified

The County of San Mateo is even hosting a fun contest to help encourage local residents get prepared and informed! (breaking)

Disasters don't plan ahead. YOU CAN!

Join the County of San Mateo in celebrating National Preparedness Month by helping the Office of Emergency Services reach 75,000 SMC Alert subscribers by Sept. 30, 2017. Sign up for SMC Alert, San Mateo County's emergency notification system, and you'll have a chance to win a prize!

Throughout September, individuals who sign up for SMC Alert will be automatically entered to win daily and weekly giveaways like a limited edition SMC Alert portable phone charger! All winners will be randomly chosen by County of San Mateo staff members and contacted via email and/or phone.
