  1. The Echo Park Neighborhood Council voiced its support for a planned four-story, 69-unit apartment complex to be built along Temple Street. Do you support the project or have worries about it? Let us know in the comments of our article
  2. The always popular Howl-O-Ween dog costume pageant will take place again this Sunday from 3-5 p.m. at the Silver Lake Dog Park. Dress up your pooch for a chance to win prizes.

  4. Each month Mohawk Bend features a specialty pizza to benefit a community-based charity. November's pie will be a Mediterranean pizza with Parmesan, Goat Cheese, Braised Fennel, Caramelized Onions, Argula, and Olive Oil. $4.00 for each pizza sold will donated to Echo Parenting & Education.
