$868,297 Powerball Ticket Sold in Silver Lake

There were no tickets sold with all six Powerball Lottery numbers.

A ticket with five numbers, but missing the Powerball number, for tonight's drawing of the multi-state Powerball lottery was sold at Silver Glen Liquor in Silver Lake and is worth $868,297.

Another ticket with five numbers, but missing the Powerball number was sold at Wes Liquors in San Mateo and is also worth $868,297, the Multi-State Lottery Association, which conducts the game, announced.

There was also one ticket each sold with five numbers, but missing the Powerball number, in Georgia and New Hampshire. Both of those tickets are each worth $1 million.

California law requires major payoffs of lottery games to be paid on a pari-mutuel basis.

There were no tickets sold with all six numbers and the estimated jackpot for Saturday's drawing is expect to grow to $142 million.

The numbers drawn tonight were 6, 7, 9, 19, 32 and the Mega number was 13. The estimated jackpot was $116 million.

The drawing was the sixth since the last time a ticket with all six numbers was sold.

The odds of matching all five numbers and the Powerball number is 1 in 175,223,510, according to the Powerball website. The overall chance of winning a prize is 1 in 31.85.

The Powerball game is played in 43 states, the District of Columbia and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
