Brush Fire Scorches An Acre Along The 110 Freeway
Firefighters quickly got the blaze under control Tuesday, but the cause remains under investigation.

ELYSIAN PARK, CA — A slow-burning fire scorched an acre of grass along the northbound Harbor (110) Freeway, tying up afternoon traffic in the area.
The blaze burned grass and medium brush along the freeway near Radio Hill in the Elysian Park area, the Los Angeles Fire Department reported. The fire was reported at 2:14 p.m. near Stadium Way. Crews quickly had the blaze contained.
By 2:43 p.m. the fire department reported that "the brush fire has been fully contained without injury or structure damage. The cause of the fire and a final acreage figure have yet to be determined."
