Cody Bellinger Is Hero In Dodgers Nail-Biter Win

It took 13 innings, but the Dodgers managed to eke out a 2-1 victory to tie up the National League Championship Series against the Brewers.

LOS ANGELES, CA — Cody Bellinger singled in Manny Machado with two outs in the bottom of the 13th inning to give the Los Angeles Dodgers a 2-1 victory over the Milwaukee Brewers Tuesday evening at Dodger Stadium, tying the National League Championship Series at two games a piece.

Machado singled with one out in the 13th after being hitless in his first five at-bats. Brian Dozier popped out for the second out. Machado moved to second on Junior Guerra's wild pitch, then scored on Bellinger's single.

The Dodgers took a 1-0 lead in the first when Dozier's two-out single drove in Chris Taylor, who led off the inning with a walk.
