LA Premiere: 'Everyday Sunshine-The Story of Fishbone'

This is the Los Angeles premiere of new documentary about punk-ska pioneers Fishbone.

Everyday Sunshine: The Story of Fishbone is produced and directed by Lev Anderson and Chris Meltzer.

It will screen later this month at the Laemmle Sunset 5, but this is a rare chance to catch it in an intimate setting with a musically-knowledgeable audience--in the 'hood no less.

The film is part of an evening of Culture Collide screenings at the Echo Park Methodist Church, which also includes a 9 p.m. screening of "Gainsbourg and His Girls," about French chanteur Serge Gainsbourg, a fitting addition to a globally-connected festival like this one.

Admission is free with a festival wristband.
