There's no shortage of quality cheap eats on the east side and one Mexican restaurant in Echo Park recently made the cut of best "under $10" lunches in LA.
Guisados caught the attention of the Thrillist for its taco sampler, which features bite size versions of its offerings like the tinga and cochinita pibil served on corn tortillas for $7.
That article got me hungry, so I stopped by Guisados on Wednesday for lunch and enjoyed a full size steak taco and a chicken taco with a drink that set me back about $7.50.
