Hit And Run Driver Kills Man On Sunset Boulevard
A man in his 60s was killed by a driver who fled the scene Thursday morning in Echo Park.
LOS ANGELES, CA — A hit and run driver killed a man in Echo Park early Thursday morning, and now police are looking for the killer.
The victim, a man in his 60s, was struck by a car at about 5:20 a.m. at Sunset Boulevard and Douglas Street, according to the Los Angeles Police Department. The driver left him for dead.
Police did not release information about the identity of the victim. Witnesses described the car as a Honda or Hyundai, dark blue, with dark tinted windows. No description was available of the motorist.

Anyone with information on the case was urged to call 877-LAPD-247.
