Police Search For Missing 48-Year-Old Westlake District Woman
Sheryl Watson was last seen about 6 a.m. on July 8 in the 100 block of South Virgil Avenue and hasn't been heard from since, police said.

LOS ANGELES, CA — Police were asking the public's help Thursday to find a 48-year-old woman last seen leaving her home in Westlake.
Sheryl Watson was last seen about 6 a.m. on July 8 in the 100 block of South Virgil Avenue and hasn't been heard from since, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
"It is very unusual for Ms. Watson to be missing and for her to not have been in regular contact with her children," according to a police statement.

Watson is black, 5 feet 9 and about 160 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. She was wearing shorts, a white T-shirt and a white scarf on her head when she was last seen.
Anyone with information regarding Watson's whereabouts was urged to call the LAPD's Missing Persons Unit at 213-996-1880 or 911.
