LOS ANGELES, CA — A pedestrian was killed Tuesday afternoon on the Golden State (5) Freeway, triggering a SigAlert as police investigated the incident.
The accident happened at Los Feliz Boulevard at about 11:30 a.m, according to the California Highway Patrol. The two right lanes of the northbound side of the freeway remained blocked, backing up traffic for miles. Authorities did not have an estimate for when the lanes would be reopened.
