They Caught A Lion Near the L.A. River?

We're sorry we missed SPIKE TV's "Urban Tarzan" shooting a recent episode on the banks of the Los Angeles River.

The March 27 episode of the show features its two hosts taming and taking in the Lion King near the Hyperion Bridge, even as wary LAPD officers get in the way.

We're not sure how real the whole scenario is--in fact, we're pretty sure it's not.

But we liked the shots of the lion crossing the pedestrian bridge just north of Glendale Boulevard, then strolling south along the path that runs toward the bridge on the Atwater side.

Real? Composited?
