Car Crashes into Podiatry Office on Fairmount
A Subaru plowed into the glass front of the Fairmount Podriatry Group office on Fairmount Avenue across the street from Fatapple's restaurant in El Cerrito Monday afternoon. No injuries were reported.
A woman in a Subaru crashed into the large front window of a podiatrists' office on Fairmount Avenue in El Cerrito Monday, the office said.
No one appeared injured in the crash, said Deanne Giacomelli, who handles medical billing for the Fairmount Podiatry Group at 7524 Fairmount Ave.
Dr. Darlene Fahmie said the car smashed into the glass front of the office about 2:45 p.m.

"Thank God nobody was sitting in those chairs," Giacomelli said. The office has chairs for waiting patients just inside the window, she said.
El Cerrito police said they had no information they could release about the accident on Monday and that it would be on the next police blotter.

The woman's 2010 maroon Subaru Impreza also damaged the wall under the window, Giacomelli said.
Amazingly, the car was undamaged, Giacomelli said.
"There was no damage to her car!" she said. "How's that? Maybe a scratch."
