DAISO Japan Opens this Weekend in El Cerrito

EL CERRITO, CA- DAISO Japan, a rapidly growing value store known for selling quality items for $1.50, announced that it will hold a ribbon cutting ceremony for its new El Cerrito, Calif. store on Saturday, April 30, 2016, followed by a grand opening celebration lasting through the weekend. This Daiso store, located at 6050 El Cerrito Plaza, El Cerrito, CA 94530 is the chain’s 13th store in Northern California and 49th in the State of California.
The Daiso store grand opening celebration has become a popular attraction. With music, vendor sampling, balloons for the little ones, spin the wheel and opportunity drawing – not to mention great shopping deals – it’s a family friendly event. Daiso first opened its doors in Washington State in 2005 and has been steadily expanding in California, Texas and Washington. The goal of Daiso is to put the fun back into shopping. One visit and customer are hooked. First-timer are in for a treat; and returning customers find something new at each visit.
Known for its $1.50 price tag on most products, Daiso carries thousands of quality products ranging from kitchenware, beauty supplies, stationery and wrapping paper to electronic accessories and useful, everyday sundries. - Opportunity drawing tickets will be given away on Saturday and Sunday. Winners will be selected and announced Sunday, May 1, 2016, at approximately 5:30PM in front of the store. The winning numbers also will be posted at the store and on the Daiso Facebook page (Daiso Japan USA) for two weeks to claim the prize.
