East Bay Law Enforcement Cracking Down on Dangerous Illegal Big Rigs
Richmond Police and CHP have had enough and are cracking down.
RICHMOND, CA- East Bay police agencies have teamed up to crack down on unsafe trucks in the area, following accidents.
California Highway Patrol and Richmond Police Department have joined forces to seek out illegal big rigs with dangerous safety violations such as improperly loaded loads, bald tires and more according to a recent report by NBC News.
Several accidents, including one that killed a motorcyclist, have reportedly been caused by big rig drivers not following the law, and local agencies hope to put a stop to it.
