Eat Pizza And Help Someone Learn To Read
Benchmark Pizzeria joins the Kensington Library to support literacy.
Can you eat pizza with one hand and hold an open book with the other?
Benchmark Pizzeria is hosting a fundraiser for the Kensington Library's literacy programs Tuesday, 5-9 p.m. Twenty percent of net proceeds from the evening will be donated to the library for programs and supplies.
The Kensington Library supports Project Second Chance, an adult literacy program that offers one-on-one instruction. The library also supports the Early Literacy program to help children with the fundamentals to read and write.
