Some of the people with ties to El Cerrito who have passed away recently
Dr. Allen Robert Coe, a resident of El Cerrito, was a graduate of the U.C. Berkeley School of Optometry. He was also a long-time member of First Presbyterian Church of Berkeley and Kiwanis Club of Berkeley. Coe died August 26 at the age of 92.
Evelyn Stewart, a resident of El Cerrito since 1937, will be remembered by family and friends at a visitation from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Monday, Sept. 9, at Sunset View Mortuary. Stewart died on Sept. 4 at the age of 99.
