El Cerrito Kids Back In The Classroom? Weigh-In Now
The school district is conducting a survey of families. Answer a few quick questions now.
EL CERRITO, CA — Do you want your children back in the classroom during the spring term? Wait until next school year?
The West Contra Costa Unified School District is conducting a survey of families to gather thoughts about the eventual return to in-person instruction for students.
The survey is available in English and Spanish and is open through the winter recess, closing at 8 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 8. If you take the survey now, you won't have to find it later and it won't be one-more-thing nagging at you.

The survey is available on the District’s website at www.wccusd.net.
The District has been in a complete Distance Learning format since the COVID-19 pandemic began in March.

San Franciso Assemblymember Phil Ting introduced Assembly Bill 10 to require public school students to return to in-person instruction by early spring after public health officials lift closure orders. Districts would be required to reopen once their county has moved from the State’s most restrictive color-coded purple tier.
