Free Compost Saturday for El Cerrito Residents
Compost will be available on a first come, first served basis at the El Cerrito Recycling Center.
El Cerrito residents can get up to five cubic feet (33 gallons) of compost Saturday from 9 a.m. to 12 noon at the El Cerrito Recycling and Environmental Resource Center, 7501 Schmidt Lane.
The compost is made from curbside organics processed in West County.
Compost is distributed on a first come, first served basis, while supplies last. You must bring proof of El Cerrito residency with you.
