Man Fatally Shot at Richmond BART Station Identified

The victim in the March 14 shooting was a 34-year-old San Pablo man, according to the county coroner's office

A man who was fatally shot at the Richmond BART station last Thursday has been identified by the Contra Costa County coroner's office as 34-year-old Raymond Harris, of San Pablo.

Harris was found shot on the stairs leading to the station, located near 19th Street and MacDonald Avenue, around 6:20 p.m. Thursday.

Police had received multiple reports of gunfire, including from a BART station agent and the Richmond Police Department's ShotSpotter gunshot detection system. Harris was pronounced dead at the scene.
