Man Wanted for Robbery in El Cerrito Caught Sleeping in a Car in Hercules
A restraining order violation call lead to the arrest of a man with an outstanding no bail warrant.

HERCULES, CA- A man was arrested in Hercules after police say he had items stolen from El Cerrito on Monday morning.
Officers were dispatched to the 100 block of Thistle Ct. in Hercules for Brandon Jackson, 25, was reportedly sleeping in a car outside of a home where a restraining order was in place, according to the police log.
The reporting person told police that Jackson is the father of her grandchild and the restraining order prevented him from being at her house, however, it was found that the restraining order had expired in 2015.

Officers report that Jackson was wanted for an outstanding felony no bail warrant for robbery and burglary in El Cerrito, and when they search the vehicle several new tools, still in their boxes with barcodes, were found and later determined to have been stolen from Home Depot stores in El Cerrito and Hercules.
Jackson was transported to the Martinez Detention Facility.
