Person Shot In El Cerrito Sunday
Police closed busy San Pablo Avenue for a time to conduct their investigation.
EL CERRITO, CA — A shooting investigation prompted police to close both directions of San Pablo Avenue between Macdonald and Conlon avenues Sunday morning.
Although details were sparse, a police spokesman said a victim was hit by gunfire and is in the hospital.
The street closure notice was issued at 5:30 a.m. and the roadway had reopened by 7 a.m.
