Rain and More Rain for Five Days

The National Weather Service forecast for El Cerrito and environs says rain is likely beginning tonight, Tuesday, and continuing at least to Sunday with occasionally heavy rainfall and gusty winds.

Probably a good time to get out the umbrellas.

At least two storms are expected to bring significant amounts of rain and occasionally strong winds to the Bay Area beginning late tonight, Tuesday, or early tomorrow morning, according to the National Weather Service.

"RESIDENTS NEED TO BE AWARE OF THE POSSIBILITY OF IMPACTS FROM  SIGNIFICANT RAINFALL AND GUSTY WINDS," the agency said in a "Special Weather Statement."
