RICHMOND, CA — A Richmond man died in a collision involving multiple vehicles Thursday evening in unincorporated Alameda County, according to the California Highway Patrol and the Alameda County coroner's bureau.
George Cajias, 67, died in the collision reported around 5:50 p.m. on westbound Interstate Highway 580 just east of Eden Canyon Road.
Two lanes of the highway were closed for about 90 minutes.
