Richmond Police Seek Public's Help In Finding Missing Teen

Antoine Whittley, 17, was last seen on the Richmond-San Rafael Bridge Wednesday 10 minutes after he used a rideshare app.

RICHMOND, CA — Richmond police on Saturday were searching for a 17-year-old who went missing near Richmond on Wednesday. He was last seen on the Richmond-San Rafael Bridge, 10 minutes after he got into a car with a rideshare driver.

Antoine Whittley is 5 foot 9, 130 pounds, and was last seen wearing a black coronavirus mask, a hooded Reebok brand sweatshirt, black and green pants with orange, green and gray camouflage stripes on both legs. He was carrying a backpack, according to a release from the Richmond Police Department.

"Approximately ten minutes after being picked up by the [rideshare] driver, our investigation revealed that Antoine was last seen on the Richmond-San Rafael Bridge. He has not been seen since then," police said.

Whittley was reportedly visiting a friend just before 8:30 p.m. in the 300 block of Marina Way South in Richmond, police said. He used a rideshare service to obtain a ride back to his home in the Point Richmond Area.
