San Pablo Avenue Transit Issues Tackled Regionally
San Pablo Avenue between downtown Oakland and Hilltop in Richmond is being studied.

EL CERRITO, CA — The San Pablo Avenue Multimodal Corridor Study of prospective improvements for transit, pedestrian and bicycle access and safety along San Pablo Avenue between downtown Oakland and Hilltop in Richmond, will be discussed Tuesday night at a public meeting in El Cerrito.
Many changes are expected for the San Pablo Avenue corridor over the next few years, and this study is designed to help identify a coordinated network of transportation facilities along the length of this regional artery thoroughfare to serve current and future users.
The study is funded by the Alameda County Transportation Commission and the Contra Costa Transportation Authority. All cities, counties and transit agencies along this stretch of San Pablo Avenue are participating in the study.

The meeting will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday at El Cerrito City Hall, 10890 San Pablo Ave. at Manila Avenue.
Anyone who uses the San Pablo Avenue corridor, or who lives along or near that main street, is encouraged to attend, or respond to an online survey about the study.
