Stolen WWI-Era Cannon Recovered

The cannon was reportedly stolen from the Richmond Veteran's Hall before the Cinco de Mayo festival in less than one minute.

RICHMOND, CA- A WWI-era cannon stolen from Richmond was recovered, according to NBC news.

NBC News reports that the theft of the unusual item was caught on surveillance footage being stolen from the Richmond Veteran's Hall on May 1 as vendors set up the city's Cinco de Mayo festival.

The video reportedly shows the thieves pull into the lot, cut the chain holding the cannon in place, and tow the 1-ton weapon away in less than one minute.
