Thief May Have Used ATM Card Skimmer at Bank of America

April 5, 2013 

Theft – Bank of America, 10422 San Pablo Avenue 
A victim reported performing a transaction at the ATM outside of the bank and then walked away. The victim saw an unknown suspect approach the ATM directly after the victim walked away and the suspect conducted a transaction. The victim later learned that several hundred dollars had been withdrawn from the account by the unknown suspect. Officers suspect that the suspect may have used a card skimmer at the ATM. Possession of Controlled Substance, under the influence of controlled substance - Liberty St. / Fairmount Ave.
Officers found a 35-year-old man from Oakland under the influence of a controlled substance during a pedestrian stop. During booking, Officers located suspected controlled substance in subject’s possession. Officers took the suspect to county jail. 

Auto Burglary – 8000 El Cerrito Plaza 
Officers report that an unknown suspect shattered the victim’s rear passenger window and stole her purse, sometime between 1700 hours and 2215 hours. 

Warrant Arrest – San Pablo Ave. / Moeser Lane 
Officers conducted a pedestrian stop and subsequently arrested a 47-year-old man for being a parolee at large. 

Driving Under the Influence – San Pablo Ave. / Blake St. 
Officers conducted a traffic enforcement stop and arrested the driver, a 38-year-old woman from San Pablo, for driving under the influence. 

Under the Influence of a Controlled Substance and Resisting Arrest – San Pablo Ave. / Fresno Ave.
Officers conducted a pedestrian stop and found a 23-year-old man under the influence of a controlled substance. While attempting to obtain identifying information from the man, he jumped up and tried to run. Officers wrestled the man to the ground while he tried to get away. Once he was subdued, officers took the man to county jail. 

April 6, 2013 

Residential Burglary – 1000 block of Havens Place 
An unknown suspect entered the victim’s home and stole a television sometime last week. 

Warrant Arrest – Eastshore Blvd. / Potrero Ave. 
Officers conducted a pedestrian stop and arrested a 50-year-old woman from Richmond for an outstanding warrant. 

Warrant Arrest – San Pablo Ave. / Manila Ave. 
Officers conducted a traffic enforcement stop and arrested the passenger, a 22-year-old man from Fairfield, for two Solano County warrants. 

Driving Under the Influence – Potrero Ave. / I-80 
Officers conducted a traffic enforcement stop and arrested the driver, a 32-year-old man from Pinole, for driving under the influence. 

April 7, 2013 

Warrant Arrest – San Pablo Ave / Macdonald Ave. 
An officer conducted a traffic enforcement stop and arrested a passenger for an outstanding Santa Clara County warrant.
