Woman Reports Sexual Battery Near Creekside Park: El Cerrito PD
The victim told police she was with her children when a man snuck up from behind and touched her inappropriately, El Cerrito PD said.
EL CERRITO, CA — El Cerrito police are seeking to identify a man who sexually assaulted a woman last Thursday.
The sexual battery was reported shortly after 6 p.m. in the 3400 block of Belmont Avenue near Creekside Park, where the woman said she helping her children get out of the car when the suspect snuck up from behind and touched her inappropriately before walking away northbound on Belmont.
The man, who police said appeared to have come from Creekside Park, is described as about 20 to 25 years old, with long black hair and glasses. He was wearing a black jacket, a red T-shirt with a white design on the front, black skinny style jeans and black boots.
