City Offers Funding to Non-Profits

Non-profit organizations and local government entities serving the Elk Grove community are encouraged to apply for grant funding offered by the City of Elk Grove. For the 2012-13 fiscal year, up to $402,000 is available through the City of Elk Grove’s Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and Community Service Grant (CSG) programs. 

The City will hold a technical assistance workshop and public meeting on February 9 at 3:30 p.m. at Elk Grove City Hall, 8401 Laguna Palms Way.  Staff will review eligibility requirements, the application process, answer technical questions and assist applicants.  Members of the public are encouraged to attend the workshop to provide input on what programs and activities are most needed in Elk Grove.  For more information, visit: www.egplanning.org/housing/cdbg.asp.
