Good Samaritan Rescues 3 From Car Fire In Northern California

Elk Grove police said the man saved their lives.

ELK GROVE, CA -- An unidentified Good Samaritan was praised Monday morning for saving three people from a raging car fire in Elk Grove. The incident happened early Sunday morning on eastbound Laguna Boulevard between Haussman Drive and Babson Drive.

Police said the incident was a single-vehicle collision that resulted in the car catching fire.

"A Good Samaritan who heard the crash got all 3 occupants of the vehicle out while the vehicle was on fire," police wrote on Facebook.

All three victims were transported to a nearby hospital where one suffered from life-threatening injuries.
