Homepage Updates Coming Thursday

Editor's note: This site update was rescheduled from Wednesday to Thursday.

No, you're not losing it! Elk Grove Patch will look different Thursday morning.

We're doing a quick visual nip-and-tuck to the homepage to make it even more user-friendly. This includes moving a couple pieces of furniture. For those keeping score: 

* We'll tweak some words in our navigation bar to save space (e.g., "Traffic" is now "Commute") 
* We'll move the weather icon next to the Elk Grove Patch logo so you can find it more quickly! 
* We're moving, well, YOU closer to the top! (Our "shout stream" will be front and center to show off all your comments.) 
* And of course we'll prettify a few things. 

While the site might look a little different, we still offer the same robust coverage of everything happening in your community. That was, is, and will always be our mission. We hope you'll let us know what you think of our tweaks.
