One Arrested In Thursday's Double Homicide In South Sacramento
Breaking: Sheriff's Deputies say another suspect is still on the loose.

SACRAMENTO, CA — Sacramento Homicide Detectives have arrested 20-year-old Hien Hoang for the murder of two Sacramento brothers Thursday. Detectives found him in the passenger seat on a vehicle stop Friday and made the arrest at that point, according to the Sacramento County Sheriff's Office.
Hoang is charged with the murders of 19-year-old Daniel Robert Murti and 15-year-old Sergio Murti Thursday afternoon on Fruitridge Road in South Sacramento.
Just after noon on Thursday, Sacramento Sheriff’s Office received a call about a shooting in the 5200 block of Fruitridge Road. Deputies responded to the scene and found the two brothers on the ground in the parking lot of a strip mall. They had sustained gunshot wounds and were unresponsive. Sacramento Metro Fire responded to the scene, and pronounced both victims deceased at the scene.

Witnesses who had heard gunshots in the area saw at least two suspects in a light colored SUV flee the scene heading east. Homicide detectives are still looking for another suspect, described as a Hispanic male, 18-22 years old, approximately 5-feet 5-inches to 5-feet 7-inches tall, and weighing 130-150 pounds.
