Police Chase Suspected Car Thief Through Camden Passage
Two others were also detained, according to the EGPD Twitter feed and KCRA.
Police went from yard to yard in the Camden Passage neighborhood of Elk Grove Saturday night looking for a suspected car thief, KCRA reported.
Elk Grove Police Department officers were chasing a reportedly stolen Toyota Camry when it crashed near Heather Ridge Court and two men hopped out, according to KCRA.
Police took one of the men and a woman who remained in the car into custody, but the other man escaped and officers pursued him, KCRA reported.

A Tweet from the EGPD at about 7:30 p.m. said officers couldn't find the fleet-footed suspect and were leaving the neighborhood.
