REAL-TIME RESULTS: Sacramento County's 2016 Primary Races Election
Patch's live roundup of Tuesday's election results from across Sacramento County.

SACRAMENTO COUNTY, CA- With voter registration across California at an all-time high, millions of people were expected to head to the polls to cast their votes in Tuesday's presidential primary election.
As of the May 23 voter registration deadline, the California Secretary of State reported that 17,915,053 Californians were registered to vote, which accounts for 72.29 percent of the state's eligible voting population. What's more, that's the highest ever total statewide voter registration heading into a primary election, according to the state.
Not surprisingly, there are far more registered Democrats than Republicans in the state, with 44.82 percent for the former and 27.29 for the latter.
