Second Man Arrested In Thursday's Double Homicide In South Sacramento
Breaking: The man turned himself in to police, knowing he was wanted for the murders.

SACRAMENTO, CA — The Sacramento Sheriff's Office says they have arrested a second suspect in the double homicide that took the lives of two brothers in South Sacramento earlier this week. Homicide detectives arrested 21-year-old Sacramento man Richard Jefferson Saterfield for the murders of 19-year-old Daniel Robert Murti and 15-year-old Sergio Murti.
Saterfield turned himself Saturday, knowing he was wanted for the murders, according to police. On Friday, 20-year-old Hieu Hoang was arrested on the same charges and booked into the Sacramento County Main Jail.

Just after noon on Thursday, Sacramento Sheriff’s Office received a call about a shooting in the 5200 block of Fruitridge Road. Deputies responded to the scene and found the two brothers on the ground in the parking lot of a strip mall. They had sustained gunshot wounds and were unresponsive. Sacramento Metro Fire responded to the scene, and pronounced both victims deceased at the scene. Witnesses who had heard gunshots in the area saw at least two suspects in a light colored SUV flee the scene heading east.
