Spotlight Elk Grove Fundraiser Set for Sept. 12

Mark your calendars: Spotlight Elk Grove is set for Sept. 12. 

This year's theme, Opening Night Premiere, is inspired by Hollywood and Broadway and will include a red carpet and costumes. 

The event is a fundraiser for student scholarships and will take place from 6-9 p.m. at the Elk Grove SES Hall at 10427 East Stockton Blvd. An opening ceremony begins at 5:30 p.m. 

This annual event is sponsored by the Elk Grove Regional Scholarship Foundation, which has provided student scholarships for 26 years, according to a press release. 

The event features more than 100 tables of food from local restaurants, businesses and wineries, silent auction and raffle, opening ceremony by the Sheldon High School Choir and Valley High School ROTC, according to a press release.
