Students at Merryhill Preschool in Elk Grove Donate Clothing and Supplies to Local Nonprofit
Students collected clothes, diapers, and other items to benefit local families in need
ELK GROVE, Calif. (Feb. 6, 2017) – Students at Merryhill Preschool on Calvine Road in Elk Grove recently donated diapers, toiletries and warm clothing items, including pajamas, scarves and mittens, to Saint John’s Program for Real Change, which serves local homeless women and children. The items were collected as part of a school-wide drive and will benefit local families in need. At the close of the drive, students helped load vehicles with the donations for delivery to the organization.
Saint John’s Program for Real Change works to unleash the potential of mothers in crisis to improve their quality of life and enrich the lives of their families. The organizations vision is to break the cycle of poverty and dependence one family at a time.
