What we love about these two top vote-getters is they represent both ends of the Mexican food spectrum in Elk Grove: an authentic, no-frills taqueria and a fusion restaurant with ambitious decor and wild combinations like pasta with cilantro sauce.

Which is best? Some might say it depends on your mood.

In the end, readers chose Todo Un Poco, giving props to the restaurant's vast, creative menu and vivacious owner, Marie Mertz.
