1 Hurt In 101 Freeway Pileup
A three-car pileup left one vehicle overturned on the Ventura (101) Freeway in the early morning hours Monday.
WOODLAND HILLS, CA — At least one person was hurt Monday morning when three vehicles collided on the eastbound Ventura (101) Freeway near the Fallbrook Avenue exit. The wreckage forced the closure of the slow lane for 30 minutes during the early morning hours.
The crash was reported about 2:45 a.m. after residents near the freeway heard the sounds of cars colliding and people screaming, according to the California Highway Patrol.
One of the cars overturned on the freeway and at least one ambulance was sent to the scene to assist with possibly injured victims. No details on injuries were immediately released.
